Welcome to Chinese Photography

This guide will assist you with discovering important library resources when conducting research for your Chinese Film class.

Research Checklist

Here is a basic check-list of "things to do" when conducting research:

  • Search USF Libraries Catalog
Look here for books, journals, media and other materials to identify if the library has materials about your topic.
  • Search Art databases
Identify and search appropriate Art & Art History databases for your topic.
  • Search WorldCat
Search WorldCat to identify additional resources owned by other libraries that may be useful for your research.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Get materials from other libraries that we don't have in the USF library collection.

Searching Databases - Using Boolean Logic

AND limits your search.  All words or phrases used will be included in your results.

OR  expands your search.  Use it to include synonyms, related words or spelling variations.

NOT eliminates subjects you do not want in your results.
