Images, Video and Audio

The USF Libraries provide a wide range of resources in many formats. Improve your understanding of subjects, enhance assignments, broaden instructional methods, and augment your research with the use of media.

How to Locate Media at the Library

All media format content may be searched in the USF Libraries Catalog: Streaming Video, DVD, VHS, CD, Audiobooks, LP, Music Scores, and Kits.

  • Select the Advanced Search radio button
  • Type the Author, Title, or Subject Heading of what you are looking for
  • Under Format select the type of media you are looking for
  • Select Search

 

Select Format "Streaming Video" to locate titles available online.  (A USF NetID & password may be required.)

The USF Media Resources physical collections are currently housed on the Library sixth floor in LIB627:

  • DVD
  • VHS
  • CD
  • Music Scores
  • LP Records
  • Audiobooks

Media format materials may be borrowed at the Library Services Desk with a valid USF ID.  Listening and viewing labs are available on the sixth floor in LIB625, LIB627B.

Access Media Databases at the Library

There are over 400 image, video and audio database titles listed in the USF Library system.  A USF NetID and password may be required for authentication.

  • Select Images, Video, Audio

Media Reserve Services

Media format materials may be scheduled for specific class dates via the Media Scheduling Services form online. Media Course Reserves may be requested through the Canvas course management system..
