Basic Format for Citing Business Resources using APA and MLA formats

 

Below is the general format for citing resources in APA and MLA styles. However, formats for specific business resources may vary depending on the information type and source. Please use the left column as a guide to citing specific types of business resources in APA and MLA formats.  

APA: Author, A.A., & Author, B.B. (Date of Publication). Title of article. Title of Online Periodical, volume number (issue number if available), pages. Retrieved from database or URL.

MLA: Author. “Title.” Source. Publisher. Date of publication: pagination. Database name. Web/Print. Date accessed.


(When certain information is unavailable, use these special abbreviations: No publisher: n.p.; No publication date: n.d.; No pagination: n. pag.)
