About this guide...

Welcome to the guide for CHM 4060: Use of Chemical Literature!

The USF Library susbscribes to over 900 databases to help students and faculty with their research. This guide picks the databases that will be of the most use for your class.

I chose things for this guide based mostly on the syllabus/assignments, as well as personal knowledge of the chemistry-specific resources the library offers.

If you have any questions about anything you see here, please feel free to contact me! Email is best, but my office is LIB 111 and my phone number is 813-974-2779.

Tip for finding CAS Registry Numbers

Try using SciFinder Scholar and searching for a substance.
