At the University of South Florida, Tampa Library, building library collections is a collaborative endeavor between librarians and faculty. Subject librarians can assist you with the purchase of new materials. If you are searching for hard-to-find research materials or if you have a list of resources that are needed for your teaching or your research, the subject librarians can help! Just click on the tab for your college on the sidebar on the left of the page to locate the contact information for the subject librarian for your department.
The library has limited funds and may require a priority list of titles, so that purchases can be made in stages. The subject librarian for your department can assist you with this process.
Suggestions for the purchase of an individual titles can be sent to either Cheryl McCoy, Associate Director, Academic Resources, at the USF Tampa Library or John Abresch, Acquisitions Librarian for the USF Tampa Library.
The USF Tampa Library's Collection Management offices are located in the basement of the Tampa Library in the Academic Resources Department.
Faculty members who would like to make an appointment with Monica Metz-Wiseman or Cheryl McCoy, may do so at any time during normal business hours - 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
