EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM EDT. Users may experience slowness or brief interrupted access to journal articles during this time.
Resolved 07/07/20 07/07/20 ProQuest - Early English Books Online Legacy Site Shutdown of Legacy Site

We are soon approaching the shut-down of the Early English Books Online (EEBO) legacy site, which will occur on July 7, 2020. EEBO is now accessible on the ProQuest platform. Some additional enhancements to the new site have gone live in June, and below is a summary:

Improvements to phrase searching: scholars can now search for both exact and variant spelling forms within a phrase

After feedback, the hit count fr each item in the results set now only counts terms that actually appear in the transcribed TCP full text, instead of also including search term hits in subjects, author and other metadata fields

The current “Full text” links on results pages are now labelled “TCP full text” in order to clearly highlight works having fully searchable, Text Creation Partnership transcriptions in addition to the standard, page image full text

The first 3 hits in each transcript are now always shown on results pages with the context of the surrounding text

The Advanced Search page has been given a field to restrict a search to books, periodicals or both

Help text has been updated

Resolved 06/26/20 06/26/20 ProQuest: Ebook Central Unable to download or read eBooks online ProQuest has identified the issue affecting the performance of viewing ebooks on search.proquest.com and expect to resolve it shortly. Thank you for your continued patience.

06/25/20 ACLS Humanities E-Book Platform (Fulcrum) Maintenance Beginning at 6:00 am EDT on Thursday 6/25, the ACLS Humanities E-Book platform, Fulcrum, will be unavailable while scheduled maintenance takes place. The outage is expected to last approximately 2 hours (6:00 - 8:00 am EDT), but if services are found to be available sooner, it is OK to use them.
Resolved 06/23/20 06/23/20 EBSCOhost Databases and Find It! Access Issues We are currently experiencing access issues with EBSCOhost Research Databases, EBSCO ebooks, and EBSCO Discovery Service (Find It!), including ejournal articles. EBSCO is working on resolving the issues.
Resolved 06/01/20 06/01/20 EBSCO eJournals Maintenance EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance on Monday, June 1st, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM ET. Users may experience slowness or brief interrupted access to journal articles during this time.
Resolved 06/01/20 05/27/20 Science Direct eJournals Issues downloading PDFs from some eJournals There is a known access issue with some of the ScienceDirect journals. Elsevier is currently working on a resolution. In the meantime, articles from these journals can be downloaded via the search result page. If you see "Get Access" after clicking on "Download PDF", go back to the article, select it (check the box), and then click on "Download selected articles". This will generate a zip file with the PDF of the article.
Resolved 06/01/20 05/27/20 EBSCO Find It! unresponsive or slow Find It! is intermittently unresponsive or slow. When searching in Find It!, if you receive a yellow banner in Firefox that states "A web page is slowing down your browser" with no results, click on Stop it.
