Identify the topic you will be writing on.
Create a research question, where appropriate.
Set up a search plan: pull key concepts from your research topic and use those to search in library databases.
Review your results - are you finding what you need?
Try different combinations of keywords - you might improve your results!

Books, media, newspapers, journals, and more available at the USF Libraries.
WorldCat
Worldwide catalog that allows you to identify resources not available at USF & discover where they are located, so you can request through ILL for your use.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Request books, articles, and document delivery through the USF Libraries InterLibrary Loan (ILL) services.
USF Writing Studio
The Writing Studio offers appointments both online and in person, with experienced writing tutors, who will help you work on your writing project. Come prepared!
