Virtual Book Club, USF Sarasota-Manatee Library Services

The Virtual Book Club was founded in April 2020 in order to provide an engaging space for student book lovers to share in reading adventures together.  Weekly meetings are held virtually via Teams on Monday nights from 7:00pm-8:00pm.  Each book is broken up into manageable reading "chunks", which allow us to read a book in 4-6 weeks.

INFO + DATA LITERACY Canvas Workshops
  • These short, asynchronous, badge-earning modules are easy for students to learn about the library and increase their library research skills and information and data literacy.

  • These live, virtual workshops provide a wide array of research training for faculty, graduate students and USF researchers. Taught by expert faculty and librarian, our virtual workshops cover a range of essential data analysis tools, research methods, and publication strategies for the entire USF community. Available in the Fall and Spring Semesters.
