Assistant Director, Communications & Marketing, USF Libraries

As an Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing at USF Libraries, I oversee the communications and marketing strategy and programming for the University of South Florida Libraries. I am an author, researcher, and cultural heritage professional passionate about crafting connections through smart storytelling, public history, and strategic audience engagement. I have over 30 years of experience in communications, working with a wide range of disciplines and sectors, from technology startups and national nonprofits to popular lifestyle and news media outlets, destination marketing organizations, and government agencies. I am currently finishing up a narrative nonfiction/biography about my great, great Aunt, Maria Chabot, and her curious friendship with Georgia O’Keeffe.
