Academic Writer

Log In Help

If you’re unable to log in, especially if you’ve recently changed your password, follow the steps below:
  • Go to the user log out to fully log out of your account.
  • Completely close or quit your browser, not just the Academic Writer tab.
  • Return to Academic Writer to log in again. (You may need to return to your library page to do this)

Best Practices

  • Always log out when you’re finished using Academic Writer; don’t just close your browser.
  • Disable browser auto-fill, saved password, and keep me logged in options.
  • Uncheck the Keep me logged in on this computer box on the Academic Writer login page.
  • Consider clearing your cache and cookies for Academic Writer:
    • Chrome
    • Firefox
    • Safari – In the Privacy area of the Settings menu, select Manage Website Data… to clear data from only Academic Writer.
    • Internet Explorer and Edge are not recommended and are not supported for proxy use.
