Citation Management Software

Citation management software allows you to organize and save your sources. The software allows you to create a reference list or bibliography from the citations you saved. Using bibliographic management software is beneficial for longer projects such as dissertations, theses, and research papers.

Endnote
EndNote is bibliographic management software and it's a useful tool to help you keep track of citations, sources, and the integration of bibliographies into Word and other word processing softwares.
Mendeley
Free reference manager and academic social network that can help you organize your research, collaborate with others online, and discover the latest research.
Zotero
Zotero is free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources. It works well with Google Scholar.

The state consortium stopped funding RefWorks as of January, 2020. Use this link to an old version of the software to access your records and export them to a new citation management system.
