Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) is an online resource that aggregates ebooks from Oxford University Press. OSO offers access to the full text of thousands of monographs in 20 subject areas, covering the humanities, social sciences, sciences, medicine, and law. USF has purchased 19 collections within Oxford Scholarship Online, numbering over 7,000 titles. These collections are: Biology, Business and Management, Classical Studies, Economics and Finance, History, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Mathematics, Music, Neuroscience, Palliative Care, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Health and Epidemiology, Religion, and Social Work.
This collection can be accessed by an unlimited number of users simultaneously. Remote access is limited to USF students, faculty and staff. Non USF users can access the collection using a computer at the USF Library.
Instructors can now request the USF Libraries to acquire e-Books for classroom support if they are available electronically.
Book chapters are in PDF and chapters may be read in the browser using Adobe reader plugin. Chapters may also be downloaded and printed.
After acessing a book title, a list of chapters will be displayed. Open chapter you wish to read. You can also download the PDF file for any section you wish to print. The PDF may load in your browser window or it may open PDF reader software such as Adobe, depending on the software and browser plug-ins you may have installed. If you would like, you can choose to download or print the PDF once it has opened.

Under the licence to access restricted content on the Website accepted by a Subscriber (which may be you as an individual or an institution to which you are affiliated) you are permitted to:
1. search, view, retrieve, and display portions of Oxford Scholarship Online;
2. electronically save portions of Oxford Scholarship Online; and/or
3. print out single copies of portions of Oxford Scholarship Online. This means you can print up to a single chapter from each Oxford Scholarship Online title or up to 5% of the pages of any title, whichever is the greater;
4. download portions of Oxford Scholarship Online to PDF. This means you can download an individual chapter from each Oxford Scholarship Online title, or up to 5% of the pages of any title, whichever is the greater. Email tables of contents from Oxford Scholarship Online to yourself or to a friend or colleague.
